Strategy before AI.

Before buying a tool or launching a project, clarify the business problem, expected value, available data, risks and your capacity to execute. Cogni6 helps your leadership team decide what to pursue, what to set aside and what to test.

01

The business problem before the technology choice.

02

Value, feasibility, data and risk before the budget.

03

A governable decision before implementation.

The real cost is not only the wrong tool. It is an organization mobilized around the wrong problem.

An AI initiative starts consuming time, attention and credibility well before implementation. Consulting makes the decision defensible before those resources are committed.

01

Cut through the noise

Separate interesting possibilities from problems that genuinely warrant an AI initiative.

02

Defend the priority

Compare use cases through value, feasibility, data, risk and the effort required to change.

03

Prepare execution

Name owners, milestones, continuation criteria and stop conditions before work begins.

Executive AI strategy session

A half day or full day with your leadership team. The session is prepared around your context, facilitated to produce real decisions and followed by a practical report.

AI Compass

Half day

For quickly aligning the problem definition, mapping opportunities and agreeing on the next decisions without turning the meeting into a lecture.

  • 01Preparation based on your business context.
  • 02A concise view of digital maturity.
  • 03A map of priority AI opportunities.
  • 04Prioritization by value, feasibility and risk.
  • 05A 90-day action plan and concise strategy report.

AI Strategy Intensive

Full day

For examining processes more deeply, making trade-offs across initiatives and building a roadmap the leadership team can actually govern.

  • 01In-depth assessment of processes and systems.
  • 02Opportunity mapping by business function.
  • 03Structured deliberation to test assumptions and bias.
  • 04Comparison of potential value, cost of inaction and risk.
  • 05A 12-month roadmap, governance model and detailed strategy report.

Working with your team, not simply handing over a report.

The deliberation creates as much value as the deliverable. Your leadership team retains the trade-offs, the reasons behind each choice and the ability to revisit them.

01

Frame

Clarify the decision, participants, constraints and available material.

02

Assess

Read the processes, data, systems, skills and dependencies as they actually operate.

03

Deliberate

Build options, test assumptions and prioritize through a shared decision framework.

04

Deliver

Document the roadmap, owners, decision criteria and next steps.

The strategy engagement can stand on its own.

Consulting and the Cogni6 platform play complementary but distinct roles. The strategy engagement first determines what deserves to be pursued, set aside or tested.

Our recommendations begin with the business problem and success criteria, never with software.

If the Cogni6 platform fits the execution or traceability needs, it is presented as a separate option.

Other solutions and vendors are assessed against the same value, risk and execution criteria.

Your initiative may qualify for government financial assistance.

Some digital assessment, feasibility or technology planning engagements may qualify for federal or provincial financial assistance. Eligibility depends on your organization, project scope, planned expenses, region and the terms in force.

Quebec: digital assessment and plan

Stream 1 of the ESSOR program covers certain feasibility studies, digital assessments, digital plans, implementation plans and system selection work, including AI integration elements when relevant. Current Stream 1B criteria notably include 250 employees or fewer and at least C$2.5 million in revenue.

Canada: strategic AI adoption

The Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative may support SMEs ready to adopt or strategically integrate AI. Assistance to an SME may be repayable and is not automatically a grant.

Review the federal initiative

The administering agency alone decides eligibility. Confirm your eligibility and applicable dates before incurring the targeted expenses. Cogni6 does not guarantee eligibility or funding.
